[China Glass Net] The basic composition of microbead glass belongs to the sodium borosilicate system. In order to improve the performance, components such as Al2O3, CaO, MgO, Li2O, and TiO2 are introduced into the base component. Among them, B2O3+R2O is about 30%, which belongs to high borosilicate glass. Its crystallization temperature is 810 ~ 940 ° C, the phase separation zone is 680 ~ 810 ° C, the phase separation zone is connected with the crystallization zone and the phase separation speed is faster.

The glass has a high boron and sodium content, a low temperature viscosity, and a low melting temperature of the ceramic fiber paper.

Therefore, in the melting process, the following issues need to be addressed: (1) Choosing the right raw materials to reduce the gas content in the molten glass. (2) Determine the reasonable furnace structure and melting process to solve the problem of boron volatilization and glass clarification. (3) Determine the appropriate molding process to avoid glass phase separation. (4) Huaneng rock wool board selects appropriate refractory materials to reduce high temperature erosion.

Since the microbeads are formed by a secondary process, the glass for producing the microbeads is first made into a pellet of a certain size.

Raw material selection The melting temperature is lower due to the lower viscosity of the glass. Therefore, although there are a large amount of refractory components such as SiO2, Al2O3, and TiO2 in the glass component, the selection of the raw materials is not difficult, and pure oxides such as quartz sand, industrial alumina, and titanium white powder can be directly used.
